The ICDB is located within the University of Chile in the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM), of Sciences (FC) and of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCQF). All three Faculties provide infrastructure and the Institute’s Administration is located at the FCFM.
The FCFM, the Centre for Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology and the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology provide administrative assistance, secretarial assistance, technician and messenger and driver services. |
The scientists of the Institute come from all three Faculties. In the FCFM they come from the Centre for Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology (Dept. Chem. Eng.), from the Centre for Mathematical Modelling (Dept. Math. Eng.) and from the Department of Computer Science. |

In the Faculty of Sciences ICDB scientists come from the Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry and in the FCQF from the Department of Pharmacology.
